PRIVACY INVADED

Everything has changed for me;
It happened on a dime.
I’ve spent these several months,
Cleaning up a cyber-crime.

This one, no joke.
They got in deep,
Infected all that’s mine.
From devices, IoTs and apps
That ran my life for time.

The Karmics pulled a jailbreak.
They all belong in jail.
Abusing their positions,
They literally spun my tale.

They watched,
They listened
In private times,
Through my phones, laptop, TV…
The remotes,
The printer,
The Bluetooth winners,
The compromised USBs.

They had me down
For a few daze,
During which
I was dismayed.
Though not for long.
I’m warrior-strong.
I strategized my way.

A silver-lining in all this:
I 86’d choke stuff.
Things I liked, but did not need…
Unnecessary fluff.

I walk away from years of work,
Decades-plus
What I have made.
This kinda sucks.
I give no fucks.
I build anew – pipe laid.

Some lessons gleaned from this ordeal,
I put to use today.
These but a few,
First things I do,
Much more, I’ll have to say.

Keep OS up-to-date –
Patch up!
Change passwords
From time-to-time.
It’s good to differentiate,
Less is more on apps –
Refine.

Compartmentalize
The blocks of Life,
So they’re not on one device.
Consider avoiding STDs...
Put this practice now, online.

I press on toward the goals
With God,
My back they’ve had this while.
With gratitude,
New attitude,
Alignment drives my style.
